Hello! I'm Rebecca, if you hadn't guessed. I've been on DA for a few years now and I've developed a very varied Gallery. It contains art from all the embarrassing phases of my life, but hey, we all start somewhere. I really love feedback (as does everyone) and I'm open to suggestions if you have something you think I'd draw well. I'm always trying to improve, but I'm also pretty slow on uploading and painfully forgetful. I'm into a bunch of other things besides drawing...namely video games (Pokémon, etc.), cartoons, gardening, and D&D/Pathfinder.
More recently, I've enrolled in OCAD University and have completed my first three years in the Illustration program. It was bumpy, and there were days when I wasn't sure if it was really right for me, but I press on. I hope to someday work in the cartoon industry, or perhaps publish my own children's books or graphic novels. I have a strong interest in animation, although I'm not currently learning it in school.

Well, now I have my tablet and I've submitted a couple of drawings. They're still in progress, but Thanks for all the faves. :)I really want you guys to comment on my art. Give me your good and bad critisism! I want to get better by learning from all of my mistakes. And, of course, positive reinforcement is always great!

Spring cleaning

Since I should be working on all of my final assignments right now, I naturally decided to ignore them entirely and use the buildup of anxious energy to clean up my DA gallery a bit by putting some (SOME) of my older, shittier drawings into storage. Thought I'd write a post about it in case any of you were wondering what happened to that-one-thing-I-favourited-5-years-ago. This is my compromise instead of deleting my account. ^^' Maybe someday.

Hey everyone.
As you can tell, I'm not terribly active here anymore, and I don't plan on posting much more in the future.
I'm not done drawing, though, not by a longshot! I've simply moved. If you're still interested in seeing my art, I'll be posting sketchbook pages and finished art on my new blog, mirthfulartist.tumblr.com. I also have a personal blog, mirthfulrealist.tumblr.com.
